iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

The iPhone 6 (left) and the iPhone 6 Plus (right).
The iPhone 6, Apple's new flagship device with FINALLY a large screen. The iPhone 6 has been Apple's most anticipated device. This year Apple revealed not one but two flagship devices, the iPhone 6 and the 6 plus. Both of the devices have many similarities between them and the major difference that sets both of the devices apart is their screen size. The iPhone 6 has a display of 4.7 inches and the iPhone 6 Plus has a display of 5.5 inches. Apple in their iPhone 6 and 6 Plus trailer said that. "The way people experienced there iPhone has always started with the display, so couldn't introduce a larger display until we could make one that was great."
The image is from Apple's event on 9th Sep'14 showing the difference in screen size.

Well that maybe since the iPhone 6 and the 6 plus both will run on iOS 8 which we have very little information on. But there is a difference in the screen presentation of both the devices ever though they have the same software and almost same hardware. The iPhone 6 plus with a larger screen of 5.5 inches uses its screen size to show more on the display in terms of the application running.
Apple for the first time has now made the home screen go into landscape mode. Now for a lot of you Android folks this is going to be very astonishing and you might be thinking that hey, Android's been able to do for a long time. Well yeah but Apple as they've said they don't make something until they can make it great.

Thickness comparison between the iPhone 5, 6 and the 6 Plus.
Despite of the huge jump for the screen size Apple has made the phone very thin.  The previous iPhone, the iPhone 5S had a thickness of 7.6 mm. The iPhone 6 and the 6 Plus now have a thickness of 6.9 mm and  7.1 mm respectively.

iPhone users have always preferred the small screen size as for people with smaller hands find it harder to reach the top of the screen of larger displays, this has been on of the reasons for people who use the iPhone ever since the larger screen trends came. So you might think Apple might lose those people. But now Apple has made a feature in the new phones that when double taping the touch id home button of the phone, it pulls down the screen so it lets you touch the buttons on the top of the screen. This is a very handy feature that most of us are going to like. The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are running the new health kit app which works with the Apple Watch. Apple's also introduced a new payment system called Apple Pay which we'll post more details on in future posts.

As for the specs, the phones maybe similar but are different from each other in so many ways. For example here are specs for the phones:

iPhone 6:

The iPhone 6 has a LED backlit IPS LCD display with a screen size of 4.7 inches and a resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels and a total pixel density of 326 ppi. The device is available in 16/64/128 GB storage with no external storage options and a RAM of 1 GB although we're not quite sure about the RAM. The device will be able to do Wifi calling and has NFC of which Apple Pay is going to take advantage of. The device has a 8MP camera with a dual tone flash, HD video and image recording. The device can record video upto 1080p which is full HD at 240 fps and has a 1.2 mp front Face Time camera. The device has a Non- removable Li-Ion battery and will be running on iOS 8 with a Dual core 1.4 GHz cyclone processor with a Apple A8 chipset inside. The phone is available in Gold, Silver or Space Gray.

iPhone 6 Plus:

The iPhone 6 Plus has almost the same specs as the iPhone 6 with a few differences. The main difference being there screen size the 6 plus has 5.5 inches screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a pixel density of 401 ppi. It's also available in 16/64/128 GB but is expected with a 2GB RAM. The device has the same 8MP camera with a dual tone flash but with Optical Image Stabilization, this handy feature is sure to produce amazing and great photos and videos probably even better than the iPhone 6. The plus is also available in the same gold, silver and space gray colors.

The pre-orders for both the iPhone 6 and the plus have gone through the roof. The phone will be available by 19 September and is available for pre-order now. Facebook Graph Search

What is Graph Search? that facebook is saying will be its Third Pillar after Timeline and News Feed, well its seems pretty interesting at most places.

Right now Graph Search is available in beta to a very limited number of users. You can sign up for the mailing list and be notified when you're able to use it. By the time Graph Search is available to all users, it's possible that brands will have the ability to single out both their most engaged followers and potential fans and target them for special deals, promotions and other offers.

Graph Search is something that can again bring up privacy issues for Facebook users. For what I think Graph search is a little scary for a couple of reasons like the main reason that I'm concerned about is that now Facebook will get to know us better and share our information with advertisers. And when people search for our information as to where we work and what photos we've shared where we've been and so on, well its sounds nice as now we can know our friends better. But what if we don't want to share that piece of information with certain people on facebook and when they search for us they'll know it all, and yes I know if we don't want to share a certain information with a person we can hide it from them but honestly I'm not sure about it as many people that I know still don't understand facebook privacy settings as facebook keeps changing it frequently and people really do get confused, facebook recently did make a video to explain all the privacy settings to people but for some it just doesn't solve there problems. I wouldn't just blame facebook people do need to spend there time on facebook understanding the privacy settings which they do not do. Although Facebook dose say that they respect all of the privacy you put on all the content that you have shared with people and said that is was there main concern and its was the main reason that made making this product such a challenge.

The tool now is limited to search only four main Now we can collect all the photos places and interests of people, with the new tool. Now we can search the photos of people from long ago and all there photos will show, like if I have a friend named Edward, I can search photos of him from 2012 by typing "Photos of Edrward from 2012" and all the photos will show up. All your content on facebook now is personalized just for you. In the current version of Graph Search you cant search for posts, events etc, those things aren't included but they will be someday as said by a facebook employee. Graph Search is not only limited to your friends on facebook we can search for content people have made public on there profile and can be easily searched through the new tool. The new tool is in a way challenging the Search giant Google as if two people search for something on google they are more likely to get the same result but on facebook the search results are much different and for a normal computer user i think its exactly what they want.

Facebook's "LIKE" feature may become a problem now with the new graph search as it may accurately give a picture of my public self as I like Technology, music, movies, TV, my jokes with friends apps and alot more but honestly that's quiet a lot of useless information and I don't really Like something cause I'm interested in it I sometimes just did it for a offer they put up on there page and I wanted to win it does not mean that i like the brand or anything else, I like sayings that other people now make pages about. So I Guss facebook really needs to think about that.

Graph search on a conclusion does seem interesting and a very help full tool in most cases but I only time can tell what Graph Search brings up for facebook. Will it irritate privacy activists or will be trouble for the facebook competitors. but as a Whole you cant ignore the fact that the new graph search can bring Stalking on facebook to a entire new level. Thank You for reading guys make sure to like us on facebook  at http://www.facebook.com/TechEnGadget and Follow me on Twitter @MahaKhanMK for more tech news and updates.

Google I/O Day 1 "Jelly Bean" introduced!

Today was the very first day of Google I/O and it was great as what i had predicted we did see some hardware, new version of Android and few more Google+ updates!

Lets get started...

The new version of Android is out and is code name "JELLY BEAN." Google has really made it very smooth and really fast and it just enhaces the user experience, Google called it "PROJECT BUTTER" which makes a lot of sence as the said its smooth which it is really! The second thing in which Android already stand out great its notifications, Android notification system is already great but with 4.1 it gets even better...its has new look which really attracts the users eyes, new funtionalities, there is a new 2 finger jester for more detail on the notifications that you have got, there is a shortcut to your settings and the time and data in the notifications try is a just a little bigger and prettier. The 3rd thing got our eye in the new version of android was the Homescreen improvements which help us to organize and personalize even better then before, and the best part widgets can now be arranged in an even better way, for example, if you want to add a new widget to an already widget polluted screen, the new widget will make rome for its self like all the other widget will move out of it way, and it will even resize thing and that is really great, another new really great improvement is Google voice search or Google Now the touch bar now at the top has now become a Siri competitor, it will work without any data connection i mean will do staff in which any data connection is not required, and the voice on it is really not like a robot type voice, its really kind of a human like voice, and its really fast too. And last are the little minor updates, i mean there little but at the same time really useful and just great, like there some new very impressive new widgets and the loo great to the human eye, and the new keyboard is exceptional as now its kinda like Swiftkey keyboard, you use it for a few while then the phone learns the way you type and then after a while it will give you results of what you want to type, so that is really cool for me.

There where many new things like the Nexus 7 and Nexus Q, and i will also write an overview about them as well, Thank You for reading guys make sure to like us on facebook  at http://www.facebook.com/TechEnGadget and Follow me on Twitter  @MKBURNINFIRE for more tech news and reviews!

Google's development of Siri Competitor "Majel"

Since October when Apple introduced Siri the personal assistant, now since then Siri has become on of iOS most recognized features. Siri was recently updated at WWDC 2012 bringing new features such as Facebook integration, support for the new iPad and many other things.

Well recently one of the top players in the mobile industry "Samsung" introduced their own Siri competitor "s voice"

S-voice was recently introduced by Samsung on its most awaited device the "Galaxy S III", S-voice has said to be a complete copy of Siri by many people but honestly speaking its has much more to it then we speak.

Google is also working on its virtual assistant named as "Majel". Majel is kept by Google after the Majel Barret-Roddenberry, who was known for voicing most of the computer interfaces in the Star Trek series.
Now the word comes from Wall Street Journal, these people claim that Google has "Accelerated Plans" to launch its very own Siri competitor, its own virtual assistant which shall be taken advantage by its very own Phones and Tablets. There is still no planned release date for it, although we do have a feeling we will see Majel in Google's up coming  I/O Developers Conference which shall be held on 27th June at Moscone Center in San-Francisco, we also think that Mejel may also be integrated in Google's new upcoming version of Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).

As for now this is all the news we have with us this moment, but we sure have some strong hopes for a Powerfull Voice assistant from Google. Than You for reading and make sure to follow me on Twitter @MKBURNINFIRE for more Tech news and Reviews.
